Thierry Meyssan , born on May 18th 1957, is a journalist and Politician French, president-founder of the Réseau Voltaire.

Biography

Raised in a Catholic medium very with which it breaks with its majority. He affirms himself soon like “free-thinker”. In May 2007, Thierry Meyssan publishes a study on “the Israeli offensive against Lebanon, in July 2006, and the replanning of the Large Middle East”, under the title Appalling imposture 2 . The work is initially diffused in Arab version in Lebanon and Syria. He is greeted like decisive by the Lebanese opposition (Free patriotic current, Hezbollah, PSNS), but causes the anger of Saad Hariri.

The book is published in France by a company especially created by the Alphée group of Jean-Paul Bertrand and is diffused by Sodis of Antoine Gallimard.

Axis For Peace

In November 2005, Thierry Meyssan chaired the Conference Axis for Peace 2005 gathering more than 130 participants (intellectual, diplomatic, political, journalists, etc) coming from 37 countries to discuss international situation and to call with an international popular mobilization in favor of the international law and peace in the world against the current néo-conservative and the “imperialism states-unien”.

Family

Thierry Meyssan is the grandson of the colonel and polytechnician Pierre Gaïsset, military observer of UNO and president of Council Israel-Liban.Il the armistice are also the son of Michel Meyssan old city council man of Bordeaux and close to Chaban Delmas.
