Thierry Metz

Thierry Metz (June 10th 1956 - April 16th 1997) was a Poète French.

Biography

Born the June 10th 1956 with Paris, Thierry Metz settles at the 21 years age close to Agen with its family. It shares its time between work of operation of building site which enable him to earn its living and of the layoffs during which it writes.

It contacts the poet Jean Cussat-White whose review Résurrection will be the first to publish it with an obvious recognition. This recognition will continue with obtaining the Voronca price in 1988 then by the publication of the Journal of an operation prefaced by the poet Jean Grosjean.

The accidental death of a child will be for him a family drama and personnel from which it will never go back and will lead it to the alcohol then with the Suicide the April 16th 1997.

The man and his work received the homage of the world of the poetry and the editors of poetry.
