Thierry III

Thierry III is the king of the Francs of Neustrie in 673 and of 675 with 687, then king of all the Francs of 687 with 691. He was born towards 657. He is the last wire of the king Clovis II and the queen Bathilde. He succeeds his brother Clotaire III. He has for Maire of the palate bubbling it Ebroïn. As this last did not achieve the unanimity at the Francs, a plot burst against the two men. Thierry and Ebroïn are tonsures and envoy in a monastery. Two years later, whereas Ebroïn returned to the capacity, he recalls on the throne his friend Thierry. The two men make the war in 680 in Austrasiens and manage to subject them. To died of this last in 685, the town hall of the palate falls to his/her son-in-law Berchaire. This one breaks with the Austrasie and gives again independence in Neustrie. But Pip of Herstal not seeing it this eye, launches its troops against Berchaire and beats it in 687. King Thierry falls between the hands from Pépin from Herstal. He dies a few years after in 691. He leaves three wire Clovis, Childebert and Clotaire. His/her oldest son Clovis succeeds to him.
