Thierry Breton , born the January 15th 1955 with Paris (14 {{E}} district), is an administrator of companies and politician French. Chairman and managing director of Thomson (1997-2002) then of France Telecom (2002-2005), he was French Ministre for the economy, Finances and industry between on February 25th 2005 and on April 16th 2007.

Since July 2007, he is professor of economy to the Université Harvard, in the United States, holder of a pulpit: " Leadership, corporate accountability and governance in has total environment" , in the capacity as " senior lecturer".

Biography

Married to Nicole Valerie Baroin in 1981, Thierry Breton is father of three children: Constancy born in 1983, Alexandre born in 1985 and Severine born in 1988.

Following her meeting with Rene Monory, Thierry Breton becomes in 1986 chief of the project of the Futuroscope of Poitiers then directs the Téléport, and integrates her cabinet from there into the minister of education main road as an adviser for data processing and new technologies. It also sits at the district council of Poitou-Charentes of 1986 to 1992 (as Vice President as from 1988), which Jean-Pierre Raffarin chairs.
