Thick Gilbert price

The Prix Gilbert Dru is a Prix decreed each year by the Rhone-Alps Federation of LICRA with a school of the Rhone (school, college or college, public or private) to reward a work aiming at fighting racism, the anti-semitism and any form of discrimination.

Distinguished work can take various forms: exposures, draftings of texts, films, plays, Romanian CD, etc

Created in 1981 on the initiative of Rene Nodot, president of the Rhone-Alps federation of the LICRA, the price were named in memory of Gilbert Dru, Lyons resistant young person Christian, one of the organizers of the Christian Résistance in South-east, shot in July 1944 on the Bellecour place in Lyon.
