Thibaut VI of Blois

Thibaud VI of Blois († 16 or April 22nd 1218), was Count de Blois, Count of Clermont-in-Beauvaisis as from 1205.
He was the son of Louis of Blois († 1205), count de Blois and of Clermont-in-Beauvaisis, and of Catherine de Clermont, girl of Raoul the Russet-red , count of Clermont-in-Beauvaisis.
He took part in the construction of the Cathédrale of Chartres and made build an immense castle in Blois from which there remains today only one tower and mainly a room: the room of the states which was with its construction more the big room of the world.
With its death, the Comté of Clermont-in-Beauvaisis was sold with the crown of France.
Marriages
In first weddings, before 1213, he married Mathilde, girl of Robert, Count d' Alençon, and of Jeanne de Preuilly.
In second weddings, he married Clémence († v. 1259), girl of Guillaume of the Rocks, seneshal of Anjou, and of Marguerite, rams Sanded.
He did not have a known descent.
