Thibaud II or Thibaut II , king ''' of Navarre ''' but also count de Champagne ( Thibaut V of Champagne ) was born in 1237 and died the December 4th 1270.
He is the son of Thibaud Ier king de Navarre and count de Champagne and the brother of Henri Ier king de Navarre. He marries in 1255 Isabelle, princess royal of France (1242 † 1271) girl of the king Louis IX of France and Marguerite of Provence.
He inherited the throne at fourteen years, under the regency of his mother and the supervision of Jacques Ier d' Aragon, and had to face as of the beginning with problems of State.

In July 1270, it embarked with his father-in-law for a Croisade with Tunis, where the king of France found death. The Navarrese died him with the return of the crusade, before to have even reached the peninsula.
