Thiadiaye

Thiadiaye (sometimes Tiadiaye , Tiadaye , Tatadem ) is a city of the west of the Senegal, located at the south-east of Dakar.

History

Administration

Thiadiaye belongs to the Département of Me bour, a subdivision of the area of Thiès.

Geography

The city is on the trunk road N1, between Me bour and Fatick.

The closest villages are Guediane, Niomar, Poultok, Rof and Diosmone.

Population

At the time of the census of December 2002, the population was of 10.262 inhabitants.

In 2007, according to the official estimates, Thiadiaye would count 12.157 people.
