They Were Wrong, So We Drowned
They Were Wrong, So We Drowned is the second album of the new group yorkais Liars, published at Mute in 2004. The group takes on this disc an orientation radically different from that of its first album (They Threw Us All In has Trench And Stuck has Monument One Signal): it indeed forsakes there the Post-punk/Funk of the beginnings for a music much more experimental, lorgnant even towards the No-wave of end of the year 70. The music suggested here thus has original sonorities creating of the atmospheres worrying and influenced by the tribal musics. They Were Wrong, So We Drowned is produced by David Sitek, of the group TV one the Radio
