Definition

Thermotherapy consists in employing heat with the fine therapeutic ones.

Use

The thermotherapy , or therapy by localized Hyperthermia induced, can be used like Traitement to destroy or weaken the cancerous tumoral cells, while limiting the effects on the healthy cells. The tumoral cells, which form a disorganized and compact network, dissipate heat badly. Hyperthermia thus makes it possible to cause a Apoptose cancer cells subjected to a rise in temperature, whereas the healthy cells manage to maintain a temperature normal. Even if these cancer cells do not die immediately, they become more sensitive to the treatments by ionizing rays or some chemotherapies, which could be applied in smaller quantities.
