Thermal comfort

Any living being releases from heat. The quantity of generated heat is proportional to the degree of activity.

The minimum activity is at the level of breathing, the circulation blood and digestion. It is what one names the metabolism. The human being has a balance homéotherme i.e. its interior temperature is constant.

To maintain this temperature constant, the human body must release the surplus of heat due to its activity.

Comfort is thus the facility with which the human one can maintain its temperature internal without effort.
