Therapeutic Impasse
A therapeutic situation of dead end occurs at a patient when all the possible treatments of its disease appeared ineffective or present intolerable side effects.
This situation allows, in accordance with the ethical medical, to include the patients in therapeutic dead end in clinical trials of phase I. They can also receive, with title compassionnel, drugs not having received AMM, but likely to improve their health condition.
