" Rational Choice" (pronunciation: 'ræʃənl tʃɔɪs) or " decision rationnelle" is a generic term used to indicate in particular different theories from the action developed in economy (where they constitute a paradigm dominating) and in Sociologie (where they are in competition with other paradigms). In a general way these theories allot to the agents a rational behavior which because of a certain number of preferences show a behavior aiming at the greatest profit or the least evil.
