Theorem of Napoleon
In Geometry, the theorem of Napoleon says that if one builds a equilateral Triangle starting from each side of an unspecified triangle (all outside or all inside), the centers of these equilateral triangles form themselves an equilateral triangle.
The difference, in absolute Value, between the surface of the interior triangle (in green) and the external triangles gives the surface of the starting triangle.
Although it is traditionally allotted to Napoleon Bonaparte, which would have stated it for the first time in 1787, there is no tangible proof that he is indeed the author of the theorem.
