Theophilus Behaeghel
Theophilus Behaeghel is a Belgian painter born close from Ypres in 1795, probably deceased in France. Raise Jacques-Louis David, it was professor of drawing with Lectoure, Département of Gers. It exposed to the living rooms of Lille in 1822, n° 528, Intérieur of a kitchen of village , 1825, n° 817, a Sister of mercy teaching the children and with the living room of Douai in 1826, n° 18, the entry of the baths of César with Cauterets ; n° 19, an old man making his kitchen, Light effect collected in the Pyrenees . Besides these tables, its work painted or drawn remained rather confidential, one knows of him a portrait of Schiller engraved by Massol.
