Theophilus Armand Neveux , born with Seraincourt on March 13rd, 1824, died in Paris on May 23rd, 1893, buried with Charleville.
Knight of the Legion of honor, former solicitor, senator, former deputy, chair General advice of the Ardennes, former mayor of Rocroi.
Since 1856, he was mayor of the town of Rocroi which he managed until 1874. In 1868, he was elected member of the General advice, of which he became soon vice-president; in 1880, it succeeded the general Chanzy as president.
February 20th, 1876, Mr. Neveux was elected appointed by the district of Rocroi and was re-elected after May 16th, like belonging to the group of the 363. The same district again re-elected it for the third time in 1881, and finally it passed for the fourth time to the list system in 1885. Finally in 1888, after the death of Mr. Kolb Bernard, irremovable senator, the department of the the Ardennes, having been indicated by the fate to collect his succession, Mr. Neveux was elected senator.
