Theodore de Cyrène
Theodore de Cyrène (Greece, -470 with -420) is a Mathématicien Greek specialist in Géométrie.
Biography
He is Précepteur of Plato and this one eulogistically mentions it in its writings.Its work in particular milked with the incommensurable numbers discovered by the pythagoricians. One would also owe him a construction of the square roots of the integers by the means of a Spirale, as well as the proof that the square roots of 3,5,6,7,8,10,11,12,13,14,15 and 17 are irrational.
