Theodore Ier Lascaris

Theodore Ier Lascaris was Byzantine emperor of Nicée between 1204 and 1222, born in 1174, died in 1222, wire of Lascaris Handbook and Jeanne Karatzine.

After the catch of Constantinople in 1204 by the Fourth crusade, it settles in Nicée, but the crusaders remove to him the Western North of Asia Mineure. It overcomes David Comnène, brother of the emperor of Trébizonde, and Nicomédie in 1205 prevents it from occupying. Lastly, he marries in third weddings in 1219 Marie (1204 † 1222), girl of Pierre II of Courtenay, Latin emperor of Constantinople, and Yolande de Hainaut. Marie is also the back little girl of the king de France Louis VI the Large.
