Theodor Ionescu

Theodor V. Ionescu , born in Romania in 1899, made discoveries in Physique plasmas, Ionosphère and Effet Zeeman.

In 1936, it obtains a patent for stereoscopic images with the cinema and on television.

In 1946, with another Rumanian physicist, it invented and built an installation with which it obtained the first stimulated emission , of type MASER (amplifying quantum of microwaves), precursor of the MASER invented in 1954.

He died on November 6th, 1988 with Bucharest.
