Theodor Drexel , German bibliographer

He is the author of a Bibliographie of books of Gastronomie including work in English, Portuguese, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, and Swedish. It is about a catalog of one of the principal gastronomical collections of the XIXe century. More than 2.000 works which made bequeathed to the Bibliothèque of Berlin and which disappeared at the time of the Incendie of this institution.

Edition gathered of the catalog individually published and its supplements of the collection of the cookbooks of 1214 articles formed by Drexel including of work in German, French, English, Latin, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Swedish. The first edition is very rare. It is an important bibliography, in particular on the major works of XVe and XVIe centuries.
