Thelma Coyne Long

Thelma Dorothy Coyne Long (born Coyne with Sydney the October 14th 1918) is an Australian player of Tennis of the Années 1930, 1940 and 1950.

She gained the Internationaux of Australia into simple in 1952 and 1954. Into double ladies, it was essential on ten recoveries with Nancye Wynne Bolton (1936 to 1940,1947 to 1949,1951 and 1952) and three others with Mary Bevis Hawton (1954, 1956 and 1958). She gained the mixed test of double into 1951,1952 and 1955 with George Worthington and in 1954 with Rex Hartwig.

With Wimbledon, it reached the finale of the mixed double in 1952 and that of double the ladies in 1957. In 1971, at fifty-two years, associated with Lorraine Coghlan Robinson, it loses with the first turn of double the ladies.

Roland Garros, finally, she played the finale of the mixed double in 1951 (gaining in 1956) and is finalist of double the ladies in 1958.
