Thebaine

The thebaine (C19 H21 NR O3) is one of many the Alcaloïde S present in the Opium.

Chemically near to the Codeine and the Morphine, it is mainly used to create synthetic derivatives (like the Oxycodone or the Naloxone for example).

Thebaine car are name of the town of Thèbes, capital of the ancient Egypt which made trade of opium several centuries before JC.
