The Spectacles of Impros Café-théâtre represent the new generation of spectacles of theatrical improvisation. They were developed in France by several companies of which Déclic Theater, Inédit Theater, HONEY, Impro Infini, And Company.
These spectacles, in a deliberated way, gave up any reference to the sporting event. On the other hand, two essential heritages of the match of improvisation were preserved: energy and interactivity.
A common point with all these spectacles is the participation of the public. This participation is done by the means of topics which are used as departure with the impros. These topics can be written by the public before the spectacle then drawn with the fate or required orally in progress even of spectacle. Often, the participation is necessary in the impros themselves, in order to redirect the impro with the suitability of the public.

Generally, the spectacle is directed by a “Master of the play” which solicits the public to define the topics of the impros and can intervene in the course of play for recadrer the play of the actors or to impose new constraints to them. More theatrical and often richer than the Match of improvisation, the spectacles of impro theater workshop are generally practiced by doubled experienced improvisers of good actors.
