The theater of the Fields-Élysées is located Avenue Montaigne, in the VIII {{E}} district of Paris.
History
Structure
It is a building built in 1913 of mixed Art déco and traditional style sheltering three theaters and a restaurant at the top aligned on the buildings close to three levels.The selected architect was Henry Van de Velde: having called upon the Perret company for the concrete framework, it was finally évincé of the project. Auguste Perret compromises here a little with its principles. He usually affirmed that the “concrete is even sufficed for him”, but he plated here low-reliefs of Bourdelle out of white marble in frontage.
The four groups of interior posts were left visible.
The frontage is classified with the historic buildings. The Council of State decided the December 16th 1994 that the addition of 1000 m ² for the restaurant was to give place to a permit building and not only one declaration of work.
The building comprises three theaters: large a room with Italian the of: 1905 places, dedicated to the opera and the music; and the comedy and the studio of the Fields-Élysées, devoted to the Theater.
The theater is the property of the Deposit and consignment office.
