Theater of the Broadside
The Théâtre of the Broadside is a popular theater Québécois located in the town of Quebec. It was founded in 1976 by a group of young actors resulting from the Conservatoire of dramatic art of Quebec. Its first artistic directors were Claude Binet and Jean-Jacqui Boutet. Then in 1996, Jack Robitaille becomes artistic director of the company.
The theater introduces texts of the world repertory, works of contemporary authors and playwrights Québécois.
Several artists of reputation such as Pebble Robitaille, Jean-Jacqui Boutet, German Houde and Paul Hébert, occurred there.
