Theater of the Bastille
The Théâtre of the Bastille is a theater located Rue of the Rocket in the 11th district of Paris. Its programming is entirely devoted to the contemporary Théâtre and the Contemporary dance.
History
In the years 1980 and 1990, the theater of the Bastille, under the impulse of Jean-Marc Adolphe, with was discovered new talents of the contemporary dance, in particular Flemish, with creations in France of the spectacles of Jan Fabre, Jan Lauwers or Alain Platel which was devoted thereafter to the Théâtre of the City.
