The Theater Capitol (: Capitol Theater ) with Moncton with the New Brunswick is a restored theater light comedy of 800 places. The room is located on the street Main and is the center of the entertainment for the city. Having been converted into cinema at the beginning of its history, the theater was bought by the town of Moncton in 1991, was restored in its original appearance starting from 1992, and officially reopened as a theater in 1993. The theater lodges usually the productions of Theater New Brunswick, like Symphonie New Brunswick and of the spectacles of dance.
It was the site of the final press conference of the 8th Sommet of the Francophonie, which was held in Moncton, in September 1999.
