the wild Child is a French film carried out by François Truffaut, inspired by the history of Victor of Aveyron and left in 1970.

Synopsis

After capturebeing captured by peasants, a wild Enfant is brought to the Doctor Itard, with Paris. The majority of the scientific world regard it as a delayed child, but Doctor Itard will succeed in waking up his intellectual abilities.

The margin is narrow between the civilized brutality of Parisian life and the brutal rules of life in nature. Victor finds a pretense of balance close to the windows which mark the transition between enfermement and the outside. The candles and the airs of mandoline play also the mediators. But Victor pay his adaptation to social relations by losing its capacity with living like a savage.

Comments

This film is a reflection on the Enfance, and in that complementary to the film the Four Hundred Blows .
