Synopsis

Louis Bertain, known as Louis the Fair one, is an important gangster who works with the complicity of Pépito the Gipsy, Raymond the Sailor and Frédo. He believes himself in the shelter under his peaceful cover of mechanic. However Pierre, his younger brother, poor gangster returned to Paris in spite of a prohibition of stay to see his Helene boyfriend, has surprised the preparation of a new blow. Louis trusting his brother, the holdup is maintained. Following this one, Louis is stopped, but escapes. It arrives just in time to prevent Pépito from killing Pierre, whom it believes to have betrayed them… But it is him which is touched.

Distribution of reference, obviously established starting from schemes of work and published in the book of talks " Gilles Grangier: Passed the Loire, it is the aventure" comprise many errors systematically taken again in the state (Catalogs Chirat 1956-1960 and Sabria 1950-1959). Is the film re-examined on copy dvd, it obvious that Rene Worms does not appear with the screen (cut role?), not more than François Joux (the interpreter of the caretaker resembles to him, but with 20 years of too). The interpreter of the waitress resembles to mistake there in LISA Jouvet which turned three or four films of Grangier at the same time: perhaps mysterious Noëlle Caputo was replaced in the course of turning. Lastly, " Dolorès" and " the friend of Pepito" seem to constitute a single character, the interpreter of the role pointing out Dominique Boschero without being completely it. The debate remains open…
