The red Knight
the red Knight is a name carried by several characters of the Cycle arthurien.
The first is the knight whom one meets in Perceval or the Tale of Graal of Chrétien of Troyes. It steals a cut to the King Arthur and is killed by Perceval, which will take then its armor and will be made pass for him.
In the Parzival of Wolfram von Eschenbach, the red knight is presented under the character of Ither, cousin of Arthur and Perceval.
