The queen
The Queen (in French, Its Majesty the Queen ) is a film of Stephen Frears, left in 2006.
Synopsis
The Queen tells the slides of the relationship between the Reine Elizabeth II and the British Prime Minister Tony Blair, showing their power struggles in the days which followed the death of Diana, the princess of Wales, to lead to a political compromise on the manner of treating its death, the British Royal family not wishing that funerals be of a national and official nature, while Tony Blair had the will to answer at the request of the British people, which claimed solemn funeral.
The Queen was completely turned in outside, in the Highlands in Scotland, with London and in the manor of Halton House in the Buckinghamshire, in England, appearing the royal property which is the castle of Balmoral.
The actor Michael Sheen, who holds the role of Tony Blair, had already interpreted this same role for the realizer Stephen Frears, in a telefilm of 2003, The Deal .
