The money Armchair

the money Armchair (original title: The Silver Chair ) is a fantastic novel of Clive Staples Lewis, published in 1953. It was the fourth written novel of the series Le Monde de Narnia which counts 7 of them on the whole. It is the sixth volume in the reading order. The world of Narnia accommodates there a new protagonist, Jill.

Summary of the history

In this 6° volume, one finds Eustace-Clarence Scrubb, the cousin of Pevensies, transformed since the Odyssey of the Frontier runner of Dawn . He is pupil of a mixed experimental school, where one leaves to the children such a freedom that strongest martyrisent in all impunity weakest, like his Jill friend and itself.

He speaks about Narnia in Jill, and they are transported after a turning by the country of Aslan, the divine lion, which entrusts a mission to them: to find Rilian, the young prince called to succeed Caspian (become old), and which disappeared shortly after death from his/her mother, ten years before. They will discharge this mission, after having lived thousand adventures in the North of Narnia…
