The green Frelon

the green Frelon ( The Green Hornet ) is a American Televised series in 26 26 minutes episodes, created by William Dozier, according to the broadcast radio éponyme of George W. Trendleet, and diffused between the September 9th 1966 and the March 17th 1967 on the network ABC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the January 16th 1986 on Canal+.

Synopsis

This series puts in scene the adventures of Britt Reid, editor association of the Daily Sentinel , which, under the identity of the green Frelon , combat the crime. It is helped in its task by Kato, its servant, also expert in martial arts and driver of the Belle Berthe ( Black Beauty ), a truffée car of gadgets.

Comments

  • Diffused the same year as Batman , which it resembles much and in which the heroes made an appearance, the series did not convince and stopped after one season only. However, because of the presence of Bruce Lee, it became a series worship.

  • Kato was the first role of Bruce Lee in the United States. After the death of this last in 1973, several episodes of the series were gathered to form a feature-length film intended for the big screen.
