The green Amazon

The the green Amazon or the Amazon with black nozzle ( Amazona agilis ) is one of the rarest species of the kind Amazona .

Description

Near to the the Amazon to yellow nozzle ( Amazona collaria ), this species is characterized by a nozzle and legs of color anthracite. It presents a plumage to dominant green with a bluish mark on the face and a band ailaire blue sharp.

With 25 cm, it is about one of the smallest species of the kind.

This bird presents a Net sexual dimorphism since the male raises a red mark on the wings absent in the female.

Distribution

This bird is localized with the forests of the John Crow Mountains in Jamaica
