Synopsis

We summons in XVIe century. The king of France François I {{er}} was captured by Charles Quint at the time of the Bataille of Pavia. In her absence, his/her mother Louise of Savoy ensures regency and charges the knight Antoine de Montpezat, faithful and honest companion of Francois, to gather the ransom required in exchange of the freedom of her son and to go to Madrid to give it to Charles Quint. Montpezat will have to thwart the traps tended by the traitor Vandœuvre, governor of Languedoc which made allegiance with the constable Charles III of Bourbon manigançant to seize the throne. At the same time, Antoine will find his Anne beloved of Own way, promised in Vandœuvre…
