Synopsis
The series puts in scene First (Primal), car-proclaimed Gods of the universe of Sigil and their descendants, Secundae.They are, since the disappearance of their Altwaal leader, separate in two clans, the Dextral House, which makes pass the interests of the others before his, carried out by Pyrem and the Sinistre house, that of those which privilege their interests with those of the others, carried out by Ingra, whose two symbols form Sigil.
Feeling threatened by the appearance of marked by Sigil, First, which took pleasure in a cold war kind, awake old rancours and start to inquire to determine the origin of the capacity of marked.
They must in addition face the ambitions of the new generation and with their own limitations, some undertaking to solve their problems to find Altwaal.

Before the beginning of their series the Primal ones will be put in scene by Ron Marz and Barbara Kesel (scenario) and Claudio Castellini (drawings) in Crossgen Chronicles #1.Number 6 of CrossGen Chronicles (Barbara Kesel/Esteban Maroco) tells how, after the departure of Altwaal, the two houses were organized at its instigation, Pyrem taking the head of Dextral, while Ingra was confined of his/her child, thus preparing the future.
The Primal ones will appear thereafter in many other CrossGen series: Scion , Sigil , Meridian , Mystic , Negation ,…
Publications
Numbers 1 to 12 of the series were translated into France by Semic in numbers 1 to 6 of the review of the same name then numbers 13 to 19 in the 7 numbers of the review Crossgen Extra .Two previews will be published by Semic with CrossGen Chronicles #1 in Planet Comics n° 11.
