the employee of Ego is a Belgian publisher of Cartoon, founded in 1999.

Origin

This publisher finds its origin in the publication of two fanzines published by students of the graphic School of recheche (ERG) of Brussels. Each week, David Libens and Stephan Menu sold for five francs Belgian a sheet a4 drawn/photocopied recto-back baptized the Proulou . Cédric Handle, Bert, Claude Desmedt and Martin Maillard will join soon them to create the SPON . This fanzine weekly of " cartoons alternatives" will be published between January and December 1999 to reach a totality of 47 numbers to which Sacha Goerg, Stephan Christmas and Stéphanam will bring their participations gradually.
