Synopsis

Shortly after the Second world war, the Wilson inspector tracks the German war criminals . In its research, it finds Franz Kindler who emigrated with the the United States to remake her life. Under the name of Charles Rankin, he became a loved and appreciated professor of a small town of the New England, and prepares to marry Mary Longstreet, the girl of the judge.
