The corrected Dandy
the Dandy corrected is a Comédie into three acts and Prose of Marivaux represented for the first time the November 6th 1734 by the ordinary Comédiens of the king to the theater of the street of the Saint-Germain Ditches.
the Dandy corrected did not have all the success which it had been able to deserve to have. The part is one of the rare data by Marivaux with the Actors of the Com3edie fran1caise rather than with the Italian Comédiens. Accustomed Comédie-Française had preventions against Marivaux and, although this well led part knew only two representations, it continued to be played from time to time, until in 1762.
