The catholic Action
the catholic Action , body of the catholic Social action or body of the catholic Action, was a daily newspaper (except Sunday) Canadian (Québécois) published with Quebec from June 9th, 1915 to August 15th, 1962.
This newspaper was the body of the Québécois movement of catholic Social action. Aiming at a widened public, widely diffused in area, this daily newspaper of obedience Catholique knew its apogee lasting the mode of Maurice Duplessis (National union). Its success starts to decline with beginning of the year 60, with the Quiet revolution, the takeover of the liberals and the Laïcisation of the institutions which follows.
the catholic Action made following the Social action and it will take the name of the Action as from 1962.
