The black Student
the black Student is a review created by the Senegalese Léopold Sédar Senghor, the Inhabitant of Martinique Aimé Césaire and the Guianese Leon Gontran Damas in the Années 1930 with Paris where they were then students.
The first number of the review is appeared on September 1st 1934.
It is in these pages that Léopold Sédar Senghor will express for the first time, in an article entitled “Négrerie”, its concept of Négritude, that it will include in all its work.
The review ceased appearing in 1940.
