the black Fortress is a American Science fiction film carried out by Michael Mann in 1983.
Synopsis
In Romania in 1945, a troop of German soldiers takes possession of a fortress although its guard warns them on a supernatural presence in his center. 108 nickel crosses are fixed on the wall. The soldiers, thinking that they are out of money, detach one and release from them a creature which each night will kill a soldier. A garrison S unloads in reinforcement, persuaded that deaths are due to partisans. The captain of the troop calls upon a Jewish professor, Doctor Cuza, to solve the enigma against the opinion of the chief S, major Kaempffer.
