The atheologic Sum
the atheologic Sum is the name of a project of Georges Bataille which was strictly speaking not concretized.
From several outlines of late plans aiming at structuring all his work, one is commonly accustomed to speaking about the atheologic Sum to evoke the triptych written during the Second world war: the interior Experiment , the Culprit and On Nietzsche - although it is necessary to associate there Alleluiah and Méthode of meditation , less practiced. If this corpus is regarded as the philosophical slope of the work of Battle, it should be seen that the literature and poetry have their word there to say: it is for example the short erotic text of Mrs Edwarda which would hold the " key lubrique" of the interior Experiment .
The whole of the relative texts to this " somme" are compiled in the volumes V & VI of complete Works in the white collection of Gallimard.
