Synopsis

Mike Gaucher (Jean-Paul Belmondo) is a professional stuntman and works with her been engaged Jane (Raquel Welch) but its too great nonchalance is worth to them soon to both a stay at the hospital. Forsaken by the producers, Mike saw the small ones combine, until the day when is invited it to double the high-speed motorboat Bruno Ferrari (Jean-Paul Belmondo also) with the somewhat effeminatized ways, and in which Mike proves to be the spit double…

Around film

the producer interpreted by Julien Guiomar names Fechner, a wink with the true producer of true film, Christian Fechner. Moreover, the studio where is supposed to turn the Spy Covered Women named FCF… the initial ones of the Films Christian Fechner .
One can see in small roles of future celebrities like Richard Bohringer (an assistant) and Josiane Balasko (the girl of the supermarket). Without forgetting Jean-Jacques Beineix which was first assistant on this film.
the film begins on a false turning carried out by Claude Chabrol (for which Claude Zidi was cameraman) with in high-speed motorboats Johnny Hallyday and Jane Birkin.
As with its practice at the time, Jean-Paul Belmondo carried out itself the cascades of film under the direction of Claude Carliez. It will cost him many wounds of them: wrench of ankle (barrels on the steps of the Sacred Heart), tear with the leg and distorsion (the fall in the staircase), bite with the ear (the combat against the tiger). The air cascade was turned in the last, the insurance companies refusing to deal with such a risked scene, but fortunately all occurred well and Jean-Paul Belmondo could thus carry out an old dream of childhood.
