Work

This work of Kerneïz is a very good introduction to the philosophy of the Yoga. Written in a sober style and supported by a rich person culture, the author shows with the manner of Descartes how our knowledge is skewed by our feelings and how yoga is an effective solution to release itself from the world of the directions. The author, to make us adhere effectively to Indian philosophy, makes his demonstration while following the advance of Descartes in the Méditations Metaphysics . He starts from this report so widespread to India since unmemorable times, with through the philosophy of Shankya, that knowledge by the feeling is false. For proof, our directions induce us in error: feelings not corresponding always to the reality of the Object. With is the touch, alcohol with 90° appears hot, really? Mixed blue and the yellow appear green although they are different wavelengths in the luminous spectrum. Thus, “what is called nowadays Science is only one coherent accumulation of illusions” being founded on the directions, the experiment. It is thus necessary “to demolish, by denying it, the prison built by our system of thought. ” The pure reason (released from affectivity) is thus offered like a system of higher knowledge, it is that of the idea, the language. Moreover, he is general whereas the feeling, it, is individual. Intellect is used to digest the directions and to make them readable. Thus our identity, Ego, do not belong entirely to the material world with a physical body which corresponds to the directions, answers a body energy or pranic, corresponding to the Ego. These two bodies are not hermetic, they correspond. They are governed by similar laws: the Natural laws are those of the Reason. Two worlds appear: that of the outside (Space, the body, geometry), that of the inside (Time, the spirit, the arithmetic one).

Our body pranic is composed of bodies called Chakra S. These bodies are the source of our mental. There without knowing them, the psychoanalysis finds there the seat of our disorders. It is necessary to learn how to control these will chakras which can become autonomous, parasitic and to make emerge in us personalities say seconds. An individual materialist is controlled by his will muladhara will chakra , this body of the Species, the Race, controls our animal instincts in his own interest: the reproduction is used to safeguard the Species (our body) but night with the individual (Ego) when it is subjected to it. The Species has a personality which one names Egrégore (gregarious Ego), it appears by the Culture, the Fatherland. The man is a compound of the Species and the Individual: the Species, which appears by its instincts, is immortal and sits in its will chakras; the Individual who is mortal, seat in the reason. The individual makes the error adapt the instincts which are the diktats of the Species. The goal of the individual being emancipation of the matter. The confrontation of both name Puberté. The individual will have after this phase, “his” personality final: the Artist and the Intellectual are the large winners of the Species, they are autonomous and live for the Idea: they act on the events. The Society man, is the loser, attache with the raw material by appearing it and the need to illustrate itself: he undergoes the events although he believes to cause them. If the Instinct belongs to the Species, the Intuition belongs only to the individual, it is the natural religion. The individual who develops his intuition, learning the control from its will chakras can reach the release and even develop supernatural faculties (each will chakra being the seat of a element).
