The Woman with the parrot (Manet)
the Woman with the parrot is a table carried out by the painter Edouard Manet in 1866. The fabric represents models it preferred of the artist, Victorine Meurent, vêtue of one stripped very correct, holding with the hand a small bouquet of Violette S and accompanied by a Perroquet. It probably acts, in the work of Manet, of the portrait of Victorine Meurent containing the softest tonalities and wisest.
The table is actually a wink with a homonymous fabric of Gustave Courbet representing a nude woman with a parrot.
