Summary
It is the second novel where the young police officer Jim Chee appears.In this novel, it is referred to the argument between Navajos and Hopis for the grounds, with a plane which is crushed, with the traffic of cocaine and the vadalism of a windmill.
Adaptation
The novel was carried to the screen by Errol Morris and was produced by Robert Redford, but very demanding Tony Hillerman disavowed film. The reader lambda will find there however what makes the salt of the series. With Lou Diamond Phillips, Fred Ward and Gary Farmer.
