The Westerwald
The the Westerwald is located directly at the north of the Taunus, on opposite bank of the river Lahn. It makes party of the Rhenish schistous Massif, intersected with Basalte S.
Its culminating point is Fuchskaute (657 m).
Along the the Rhine, close to Bonn, one finds a group of old volcanos, Siebengebirge (or seven mountains). Most known of these tops is the Drachenfels.
