the War of tuques the is a Comédie dramatic Québécois E realized by André Melançon and left in 1984.

Synopsis

It is the leave of the festivals which starts and while returning from the school a gang of " p' tits gars" decide to make the war with spoils which will be divided by the winners. Luc Chicoine is the boss of the bécosses and puts on paper the rules of the war.

The young people are then separate in two teams, but each one selected her camp: Jean-Louis Lapierre and François " Lunettes" in the team of Pierre (to which Sophie and Lucie Tremblay later in film will be added). The twins Leroux (Georges and Henry), Chub, Ti-Jacques and his sister France, Maranda, Lagacé form part as for them of the team of Luc. Most will attack and the others will build a castle-extremely with the plans of François. Ti-Guy the Moon the peaceful one as his/her cousin Daniel Blanchette de Victoriaville remain apart from this war. Pierre and his accomplices decide not to play war because of Luc who decides all, but will change idea on the councils of Sophie, the new neighbor of Pierre, who joint with them. Pierre has other concern that the war. Its Cléo bitch is sick. His/her parents do not want any more that it remains in the house because it pisses everywhere and it grogne maintaining after people.

One of the most famous counterparts of film, " The war, the war… it is not a reason to be made mal" , as slogan against the war in Iraq of 2003 was used.
