History
the Walk of the Volunteers was, at the origin, the credits of the Enfants of China (风云儿女) (1935), a film on the first Sino-Japanese war (1894-1895), in which she is sung by Yuan Muzhi and Gu Menghe.
The September 27th 1949, it became the provisional national anthem because it referred to one strong historic moment of China and released an energetic music reflecting the Chinese revolutionary traditions since the end of the Dynastie Qing. But, during the Cultural revolution, Tian Han were shown to be a anti-revolutionist and were tortured with death. The anthem could not be any more sung, just played.
The March 5th 1978, the words were modified. However, much of people the words of origin claimed and thus the December 4th 1982, the Walk of the Volunteers found its words of origin and was proclaimed official national anthem of the Popular republic of China.
